DOES TATTOO REMOVAL HURT?

There is some discomfort with having a tattoo removed.   Minor pain and irritation can occur, but the pain tends to subside after a day or two.  Over the counter pain medication can help reduce the initial pain and irritation.  
 
There are different types of lasers to remove tattoos, but we use picolaser technology. It's been noted as an industry leader and it's also a faster process, which will limit the time and treatments needed to complete your tattoo removal.

Again, this all depends on size, color and placement of your tattoo. Tattoos will require multiple  treatments, and larger ones may take 10+.   The average tattoo removal starts around  $100-$150 per treatment but can go up to $450 in some cases.

Initially the specialist may put a small covering over your tattoo post treatment but recommend you removing it a few hours later.  Keeping it clean and out of the sun is extremely important.   Some specialist suggest topical ointments but be careful of how much and how often you apply it, some can cause adverse effects.  Talk to your removal specialist and get clear guidelines for post treatment care.
