DOES TATTOO REMOVAL HURT?

There is some discomfort with having a tattoo removed.   Minor pain and irritation can occur, but the pain tends to subside after a day or two.  Over the counter pain medication can help reduce the initial pain and irritation.  
 
There are different types of lasers to remove tattoos, but we use picolaser technology. It's been noted as an industry leader and it's also a faster process, which will limit the time and treatments needed to complete your tattoo removal.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL IT TAKE?

Treatments depend on size, color and placement of the tattoo.  It is best recommended to have a detailed consultation with your specialist prior to starting any treatment.

I WAS TOLD SKIN TONE CAN AFFECT THE REMOVAL PROCESS.

Yes, skin tones take to colors differently. This is why it is important to find a facility which utilizes safe and effective equipment and has specially trained technicians to match your skin tone to the treatment.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

Again, this all depends on size, color and placement of your tattoo. Most tattoos require 4 to 8 treatments, and larger ones may take 10+.   The average tattoo removal is around $100-$150 per treatment but can go up to $250 in some cases. 
 
We've put together some discounted start-up packages which are a great start to removing your unwanted tattoo, not just due to the pricing, but also it will allow the technician a  better understanding of how many treatments it may take by how much lightening occurs after each of your prior treatments.

DO I NEED TO KEEP IT COVERED OR USE A TOPICAL DURING THE PROCESS?

Initially the specialist may put a small covering over your tattoo post treatment but recommend you removing it a few hours later.  Keeping it clean and out of the sun is extremely important.   Some specialist suggest topical ointments but be careful of how much and how often you apply it, some can cause adverse effects.  Talk to your removal specialist and get clear guidelines for post treatment care.
